What is live edge furniture?

                The term “live edge” refers to the natural edge left on at least one side of a piece of wood.  Live edge furniture is a table, desk, shelf, or anything else you can think of to create.  Here at Slab and Steel Design we like to work with many different species of wood to create as many one-of-a-kind creations that we can think of.  Live edge furniture can be used as a primary piece of furniture in a dining room or an accent piece somewhere else in your home.  The options are endless.  We utilize steel bases in almost all of our designs, but you certainly don’t need to do the same.  There are endless options and you can pick what works best for you!
